This is Lightning Machine.

Lightning is made up of a group of guys that have mastered the craft of cutting steel, aluminum and many other materials. We take extreme pride in our work and love to take on the challenges that come with new and exciting projects. Combined with the knowledge of the trade and state of the art tooling these guys create works of art from a blank canvas.
 

Our collection of CNC boring mills and bridge mills gives us the ability to process many different types and styles of parts. Each machine has been laser calibrated to hold tolerances down to .0005 for when you need precision and accuracy in the final product.  Many machines also offer rotary tables that increase efficiency when cutting parts with multiple sides and angles. The bridge mills are equipped with Fanuc controls at the heart and each boring mill is controlled by Heidenhain controls. The Heidenhain control allows each machine to be programmed either independently at the control or in conjunction with CNC Software.
 

Our programmers use GibbsCam software to program precise machine paths while giving us the ability to maximize tool life. This in turn reduces overall cost while maximizing machine run time. Lighting also uses SolidWorks to be able to take in various different types of solid models and data for the programmers to work from to ensure accuracy.
 

Lightning's facility is equipped with multiple over head cranes allowing to pick and move parts up to 15 Tons in weight. A new 22ft wide bay door also allows us to get those larger parts through the door with ease. Two forklift trucks are also available to assist in loading and unloading trucks.
